These policies allow us to provide an exceptional level of customer service and to be fair and consistent with each customer. We appreciate your business, and we are happy to clarify any questions or discuss any concerns you may have.
Returns & Exchanges – Policy updated January 2025
Our Returns & Exchanges Policy is below for your review.
1. Eligibility for Returns of Items Purchased Directly from Realeather.com
Time Frame:
- You have 30 days from the date of receipt to initiate a return.
Condition:
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging.
Proof of Purchase:
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.
Photographs:
- Photographs of the item may be required for validation of return eligibility.
2. Items Not Purchased Directly from Realeather.com
Returns for items bought at other retail locations/websites must be handled by the original seller. Please contact the store where the purchase was made for their return policy and procedure. This does not apply to items where quality concerns, missing parts or warranty issues are concerned.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Custom Orders: Custom-made or personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Closeout Items: All Sales are Final
4. Return Process
Initiate a Return:
To start a return, contact our customer service at realeather@silvercreekleather.com with your order details, including order number or invoice number. Photographs of the item may be required for validation of return eligibility. Upon Review of your Return Request, if approved an RMA number may be issued and further instruction will be given.
Shipping:
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Inspection:
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund and/or Account Credit.
5. Refunds
Approval:
- If your return is approved, a refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment upon receipt and approval of the returned items.
Partial Refunds:
- Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error may be eligible for a partial refund or account credit.
Restocking Fee:
- A restocking fee of 25%, but no more than $100, MAY be deducted from the refund for all returned items.
6. Exchanges
We will gladly replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same item, contact us at realeather@silvercreekleather.com.
7. Missing Components or Defective Items or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives with missing or defective components, contact us within 30 days of receipt. Please provide photographs of the defective or missing components. We will arrange for a replacement or provide a full refund with proof of purchase.
8. Shipping Errors or Damage due to Carrier
For orders which may have been damaged due to the carrier, please follow the claims process for the carrier. Please contact us within 5 days of receipt so we are able to create a new order in a timely manner.The financial responsibility of the replacement order will be on the customer.
9. International Returns
International returns must comply with the same guidelines as domestic returns. However, please note that international shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
