  • Realeather Dye Marker, Black
  • Chopsticks

Tools Required:

  • Sewing Machine
  • Rotary Cutter
  • Cutting Mat
  • Ruler
  • Scissors
  • Binder Clips

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Mark Your Leather – Using a ruler and marker, draw a diagonal line on the backside of your leather piece.

Cut Along the Line – With a rotary cutter and ruler, trim along the drawn line.

Shape the Small Leather Piece - Cut a piece measuring 3 ¾” along one side, 2 ¼” across the top, 2 ¼” along the second side, and 2 ¾” angled along the bottom edge.

Stitch the Edge – Sew along the top edge and one short side with a ¼” seam allowance.

Attach the Smaller Piece – Clip the smaller leather piece to the large rectangle using binder clips.

Trim the Bottom Corner – Reduce bulk by trimming ½” off the bottom corner of the clipped pieces.

Sew the Edges – Stitch around the outer edge using a ¼” seam allowance.

Secure the Small Pocket – Sew the open side and bottom of the smaller leather piece to the larger one, maintaining a ¼” seam allowance.

Create a Closure Tab – Cut a 1” triangle from the leather.

Prepare the Leather Cord – Fold the round lace in half, placing the fold at the point opposite the straight edge of the large leather piece. Secure it with the small triangle piece on top.

Sew the Closure – Stitch the triangle in place with a ¼” seam allowance.

Secure the Cord Ends – Tie knots at the ends of the leather cord.

Insert Your Chopsticks – Place them inside the bottom of the holder.

Fold and Secure – Fold the top edge over the chopsticks, wrap the holder around them, and tie the cord to secure.
