STEP 1: (Optional) STAMP OR TOOL A DESIGN
A) Dampen (case) leather with sponge & water. When leather
comes back to its natural color & is cool to the touch, it’s ready
to tool.
B) Trace your design onto vellum, then transfer design to cased
leather using the stylus end of a modeling tool.
C) Stamp or tool your design.
STEP 2: (Optional) ADD COLOR. Use leather dyes, stains,
antiques, acrylic paints and more.

STEP 3: ADD A FINISH. If you applied color, let parts dry
completely. Then add a protective leather finish.
